How to Setup an Internet Email Account in Outlook 2007

Fill out the form with your information. Typically if you have an HTTP (Hotmail, MSN, or Live) email account all you have to do is fill in the information on this form and everything else on the setup will be automatically configured.
If you have a POP/SMTP email account you can test the automatic configuration by filling out this form and then click "Next."

"Internet E-mail Settings"
Fill out the form with your information. You can retrieve the "Server Information" from your email service provider. Leave the check on the box next to "Remember password" so that you don't have to enter it every time you send/receive email.
For example Yahoo! Mail Plus subscribers use the information below:
Incoming Mail (POP3) Server: plus.pop.mail.yahoo.com (Use SSL, port: 995)
Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server: plus.smtp.mail.yahoo.com (Use SSL, port: 465, use authentication) - 7

You're done with setup. Now you can enjoy and do more with your email using Outlook 2007.
Tips & Warnings
If you have problems with successful tests check with your email service provider for account settings.
For troubleshooting Outlook go to the Microsoft Office website or use the Help in Outlook by pressing F1.
Some email service providers do not allow you to use other mail clients unless you subscribe to paid services.
