Mouth Watering Pink Salmon Steaks are Great!!!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Desired amount of Salmon to cook
  • Sweet Soy Sauce
  • Indoor grill (preferably smooth, grooves tend to cause the Salmon to stick)
  • Aluminum foil cut 2 1/2 times the size of each individual piece of Salmon
  1. Step 1

Wash and pat dry Salmon Steaks.

Note Salmon Steaks should be no more than 3/4 inch thick.

  2. Step 2

Rub the Sweet Soy Sauce on both sides of Salmon Steaks and allow the steaks to sit out until they are room temperature before cooking.

Use about 2 Tablespoons of sauce per Salmon Steak.

  3. Step 3

Once the Salmon Steaks are room temperature turn on the grill to the highest temperature.

When you see the grill begin to smoke a little, put the Salmon Steaks onto the grill to brown. Turn the steaks over once they are browned and lower the heat (about 1 minute, watch them or they may burn), in order to brown the other side.

  4. Step 4

Once both sides are brown, wrap each Salmon Steak in Aluminum Foil to finish off the cooking. Wrapping them will prevent them from drying out.

  5. Step 5

After about 15 minutes open up the aluminum foil to check on the Salmon. Take a fork and try to remove the bone (backbone) from the center of the Steak. If it removes easily, the Salmon is done. ENJOY.

  6. Step 6

Salmon Steak is awesome with onion rice and steamed vegetables.

Tips & Warnings
  • Ensure Steaks are room temperature before cooking. Cooking them cold will cause the Steaks to dry out on the outside.
  • Don't cut the steaks too thick.
