Things You'll Need:
- Desired amount of Salmon to cook
- Sweet Soy Sauce
- Indoor grill (preferably smooth, grooves tend to cause the Salmon to stick)
- Aluminum foil cut 2 1/2 times the size of each individual piece of Salmon
-
Step 1
Wash and pat dry Salmon Steaks.
Note Salmon Steaks should be no more than 3/4 inch thick. -
Step 2
Rub the Sweet Soy Sauce on both sides of Salmon Steaks and allow the steaks to sit out until they are room temperature before cooking.
Use about 2 Tablespoons of sauce per Salmon Steak. -
Step 3
Once the Salmon Steaks are room temperature turn on the grill to the highest temperature.
When you see the grill begin to smoke a little, put the Salmon Steaks onto the grill to brown. Turn the steaks over once they are browned and lower the heat (about 1 minute, watch them or they may burn), in order to brown the other side. -
Step 4
Once both sides are brown, wrap each Salmon Steak in Aluminum Foil to finish off the cooking. Wrapping them will prevent them from drying out.
-
Step 5
After about 15 minutes open up the aluminum foil to check on the Salmon. Take a fork and try to remove the bone (backbone) from the center of the Steak. If it removes easily, the Salmon is done. ENJOY.
