How to make smores cookies

These smores cookies are great for any holiday or just for a snack. They are easy to make and great for any occasion.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 16.5 ounce roll of Pillsbury refrigerated chocolate chip cookies
  • 16 regular sized marshmallows
  • oven
  1. Step 1

    Heat oven to 350 degrees. Shape the cookie dough into one inch balls and place on an ungreased cookie sheet about 2 inches apart. Bake for about 12 minutes.

  2. Step 2

    While the cookies are baking take the marshmallows and cut then in half crossways with a knife.

  3. Step 3

    When the cookies are done baking, take them out of the oven and let them cool for 2 minutes. Next, put one of the marshmallow pieces on the cookie with the sticky cut side facing down. Gently push the marshmallow into the cookie.

  4. Step 4

    Place the cookies back into the oven for about 3 minutes or until the marshmallow start to puff up. Remove the cookies, let them cool for afew minutes, turn off the oven, and enjoy!
