How to remove permanent marker from almost any surface!

Have the kids ever found a permanent marker and marked things other than paper?? I've found a simple household item that removes permanent marker from almost anything!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • can of lysol disinfectant
  • towel to clean with
  1. Step 1

    Simply spray the surface that your cleaning with lysol disinfectant.

  2. Step 2

    Let the lysol sit for a couple of minutes, then wipe clean.

  3. Step 3

    If traces of marker remain, simply spray again and let sit. Repeat until all signs of marker are gone.

Tips & Warnings
  • It can take anywhere from one try to several trys to remove the stain. That all depends on the surface the marker is on and how long the marker stain has been there.
  • It is best to try to remove as soon as possible.
  • I have not attempted this on clothing or fabric.
  • The lysol and rubbing remove finish on some wood surfaces so use with caution.
