    • 2

Paint a 1/2 inch section, using the peach acrylic paint, a 1/4 inch from the top of the clothespin. Allow the paint to dry.

    • 3

Dip the blunt end of the skewer into the pink paint and dot two cheeks on the peach face of the clothespin Santa ornament. Allow the paint to dry.

    • 4

Dip the pointed end of the skewer into the black acrylic paint and dot two eyes. Allow the paint to dry.

    • 5

Dip the pointed end of the skewer into the red acrylic paint and draw a short line straight down in the middle of the face for the clothespin Santa ornament's nose. Allow the paint to dry.

    • 6

Paint a thin line for the belt, horizontally, using the black acrylic paint, a 1/4 inch below the wire on the front of the Santa. Paint a 1/4 inch section on the bottom of the clothespin for Santa's boots, using the black acrylic paint. Allow the paint to dry.

    • 7

Draw a square buckle over the middle of the belt using the gold paint pen.

    • 8

Thin the texture snow medium slightly. Dab the textured snow around the face to create the hair and beard. Dab the snow on the top edge of the boots for fur. Be sure to dab a small bit on the top right hand corner of the clothespin Santa ornament for the hat pom pom. Allow the snow medium to dry.

Tips & Warnings

  • Force open the clothespin soon after it has been painted red and dried.

  • If a gold paint pin is not available, paint the buckle using gold paint.

  • Note: The top of the clothespin Santa ornament is the clamp end and the front of the ornament is one of the clothespin's sides.
