Things You'll Need:
- Glass or plastic Christmas ball ornaments
- White craft glue or decoupage mixture
- Bowl
- Water
- Foam or sponge craft paint brush
- Dinner plate for work surface
- Ribbon (optional)

Step 1
Save and collect old postage stamps off of envelopes. You can soak them off with warm water in a bowl to get them off the envelopes. Let them dry completely before you use them to make the postage stamp ornaments. Use whatever size or theme of stamps you want. It is fine to mix and match the sizes on the ornament.

Step 2
Pour the white glue in a bowl, and mix with a few teaspoons of water to thin it enough to be able to brush it on smoothly. Don’t make it so watery that the glue won’t stick properly. As an alternative, buy the premixed decoupage medium. Either method will work fine.

Step 3
Brush some of the glue mixture on one area of the glass or plastic bulb. Then begin setting the stamps on the prepared area of the ball. Arrange them however you like. Only do one area at a time so that it is easier to work with the ball. You should overlap the postage stamps slightly so none of the bulb surface is showing. Continue this process all over the surface of the ball until it is completely covered.

Step 4
Brush the whole surface with a layer of the glue mixture to give it a glossy finished look when it dries. You may want to do a second layer of finish after the first one dries to give it a nice thick glossy coat. Make sure the whole surface is dry. Then the postage stamp ornament is ready to hang or give as a handmade gift. Repeat the above steps to start your own personal collection of Christmas ornaments.
