Finding collectible tarot cards can be daunting, but there are a few places you can search that can help you find the perfect set.

1. Visit specialty shops. Metaphysical shops will often have unique sets of tarot cards to choose from. Look for a shop that sells items such as crystals, divination accessories and amulets and you’ll surely find tarot cards as well.

2. Look at various stores online. Online stores are a great resource of tarot cards. Not only can you get them at mainstream stores such as Borders and Barnes and Noble, you can also find them at metaphysical shops such as mentioned above. Usually you will be able to view a sample of the various cards in the deck so you can get an idea of the theme of the deck. eBay and Amazon also have new and used tarot card sets in many different formats.

3. Visit bookstores. Bookstores are an excellent source for tarot card decks. Most major book retailers will have a few sets available and some will even have multiple sets to choose from. Don’t forget to look at the accompanying books that are offered with your tarot deck. Some bookstores have tarot cards locked up in a display case so you may have to ask to view them.

4. Search flea markets and garage sales. Although it might be harder to find tarot card decks at these places, you could very well find a one of a kind deck.

5. Ask a tarot card reader. If you have a reading done or visit a tarot card reader, find out where he or she gets their decks.
