How to Set Your Home Page in Safari

Safari is the Web browser that comes bundled with the Mac OS X operating system. It is a registered Apple product, but PC users can download this browser as well. Until you change the homepage, every time the browser opens you'll be directed to the Apple homepage. To better enjoy and personalize your Web-surfing experience, set your homepage to the page you use most often, whether this is a news page, your Web-based email or some other interesting site.

Instructions

    • 1

      Open the Safari application.

    • 2

Decide what Web page you would like to make your homepage and navigate to that page.

    • 3

When the page has loaded, click "Safari" and choose "Preferences" from the navigation toolbar.

    • 4

Select the "General" tab and choose "Set to Current Page." This will set the homepage to the page that is visible.
