How to Buy Wood Louisville Slugger Bats

If you're searching for a classic baseball bat to either use or display in your home, you'll want to buy a wooden bat. Here is how you can do just that.

  1. Step 1

    Log onto the Louisville Slugger website to find a dealer in your area. Click the “Dealer Locator” link at the top of the home page. Enter the name of your town or city and then choose your state in the drop box. You can also search by zip code. After you click the “Locate” tab, you will see a list of stores that sell Louisville Slugger bats near you. To ensure that this store has a wood Louisville Slugger bat, it is recommended that you call before visiting the store.

  2. Step 2

    Visit large sporting goods stores in your area. Dick's, Modell's and Sports Authority are just three national stores that carry wood and aluminum Louisville Slugger bats.

  3. Step 3

    Go to the Anaconda Sports website. Click the “Baseball” link on the left side of the home page. Select “Bats” on the next Web page. Choose “Wood” underneath the “Select a sub category” heading on the left side of the page. Finally, click “Louisville Slugger” found underneath the “View by manufacturer” heading. You will then be directed to a Web page which lists wood Louisville Slugger bats sold by Anaconda Sports. Click on a bat to learn more about the item.

  4. Step 4

    Shop on the Home Run Monkey website. Find and click on the “Wood Bats” link underneath the “Bats” heading on the left side of the home page. On the next home page, you will see eight different manufacturers. Choose “Louisville Slugger” to see the wood Louisville Slugger bats found on Home Run Monkey. Scroll through the listed bats and click on one to read about the bat. Choose the “Add to Basket” tab to make your purchase.

  5. Step 5

    Find Wood Louisville Slugger bats on Amazon. Amazon lists pages of both wood and aluminum Louisville Slugger bats to choose from (see Resources below). Click on a bat to see a larger image and to read information about the item.
