Cut a piece of lightweight cardboard 12-inches wide by 20-inches tall. Draw a long snowman shape using up the entire length and width of the cardboard. Cut out the snowman pattern.
-
2
Fold two layers of the quilt together with the right sides facing. Lay the pattern on the layers and trace the snowman. Pin the snowman together and cut out.

3
Sew around the snowman using a 1/4-inch seam allowance. Leave a 3-inch opening on top of the snowman's head. Turn the snowman right side out and stuff firmly. Stitch the opening closed.
-
4
Cut a piece of lace fabric 10-inches tall by 12-inches wide for the snowman's hat. Fold the piece in half, matching the 10-inch sides. Sew the 10-inch sides together using a 1/4-inch seam. Turn right side out.
-
5
Cut a piece of lace 6-inches wide by 12-inches long. Gather 2 inches down from an open end on the hat and tie the lace strip around the gathers.
-
6
Fold the brim of the hat up 2 inches. Fold another 2 inches and place the hat on the snowman. Glue the hat to the snowman doll.
-
7
Cut a piece of lace 6-inches wide by 30-inches long and tie around the snowman's neck.
-
8
Apply blush to the snowman's cheeks using a cotton swab.
-
9
Cut a 1/2-inch wide by 1-inch long triangle from the orange felt scrap for the nose. Glue the nose to the center of the quilt snowman doll's face. The flat end will be positioned in the center of the face and the point will be to the right.
-
10
Using 6 strands of the brown embroidery floss, stitch 5 "x's" to create a smile on the quilt snowman doll's face. Glue the two white buttons, above the nose, for the eyes. Allow the glue to dry.
