How to Install Tray 2 on an HP Business Inkjet 2800 Series Printer
The HP Business Inkjet 2800 Series of printers have the capability of printing on paper from 4 x 6 inches to 13 x 19 inches. They can print at speeds up to 24 pages per minute in black and up to 21 pages per minute in color draft. Reproduction quality is excellent, too, at up to 4800 x 1200 optimized dpi color and 1200 input dpi. An added bonus is the optional Tray 2 that can hold up to 250 sheets of plain paper so you can print more without stopping to reload.

Turn the power to the printer off by pressing and releasing the power button located on the far left hand side of the control panel. Unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet. Move the printer from its operating location.

Remove all packaging material from the tray. Discard all packing material, then set the tray in the desired operating location. Lift the Inkjet 2800 Series Printer and carefully set it down on top of the tray.

Plug the power cord into a working electrical outlet. Press and release the power button to turn the printer on.

Make sure the printer’s software is installed on your Windows-based computer. Single left click the "Start" button. Move the cursor to the "Control Panel" option and single left click to open it. Single left click the "Printers and other Hardware" option. Single right click the "HP Business Inkjet 2800 Series" printer icon. This will open a drop down box. Single left click "Properties" or "Preferences" to open the printer properties dialog box. Single left click the "Configure" or "Device Settings" tab. Single left click the "Automatic Configuration" option. Single left click the "Update Now" button. Single left click the "OK" button.

Tips & Warnings
Tray 2 comes with the HP Business Inkjet 2800dt and HP Business Inkjet 2800dtn printers.
Tray 2 can hold up to 250 sheets of plain paper.
The commands in Step 4 may be slightly different in different Windows operating systems.
Lift the printer by the sides rather than the bottom.
