1
Get a group of kids together to play the Halloween Candy Toss Game. The Halloween Candy Toss Game requires a minimum of three players and a maximum of ten players. The ideal number of players for the Halloween Candy Toss Game is between six and eight.
-
2
Ask each child to bring a small bag of candy from her Halloween trick-or-treating collection. Make sure the children know that they can lose this candy to other children in the Halloween Candy Toss Game, so they should not bring their favorite candies.
-
-
3
Draw a target on the posterboard. A typical bullseye target works great. Draw three concentric circles along with a bullseye in the center of the target on the target.
-
4
Choose one child to go first. Let that child stand between 15 and 20 feet away from the target, which is placed on the floor. Direct the child to toss three pieces of candy, one at a time at the target, trying to land one in the center of the bullseye.
-
5
Give each child a turn, allowing each child to toss three of his or her pieces of candy. Keep track of which child is closest, second closest, and so on down to the child who is furthest from the target.
-
6
Allow the children to claim the candy that is on the target. The player that was closest to the bullseye can claim her candy first, she can claim any three pieces of candy thrown by any of the children in the game. Allow the next closest child to make a choice of three pieces, continuing in the order of closest to furthest from the bullseye. If one and only child lands a piece of candy in the center bullseye on the gameboard, that child collects all the pieces of candy on the gameboard for that round.
-
7
Continue playing until the children get tired of the game, or until a pre-determined number of rounds have been played.
