Moms can certainly learn a great deal about parenting from one another. The Internet has made it easy to keep in touch with other moms all over the country. If you are interested in finding mom blogs on the Web, you have found the right place. You can usually leave your own comments under the blogs and impart some of your own parenting styles to others who are eager to hear how different moms handle different situations or who just want encourage each other.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Visit the Mom Blogs (link provided below). This is the "queen" of places to find all of the mom blogs on the Web. The site offers searches for almost any topic area you can think of, including working moms, moms of young children, moms of teens and even moms who practice different religions. It is a great place to start if you are looking for information or just want to connect with other moms who are going through the same situations as you.

  2. Step 2

Visit Club Mom (link provided below), a highly interactive place where you can not only read blogs written by moms on many different subjects but also play games, submit your own articles and enter lots of contests to win cool prizes. You can even ask questions that other moms will answer for you, or you can answer questions that other moms have asked. Registration is required but is free. You can browse the website without joining, though, to get a feel for what it is like.

  3. Step 3

Start your own blog by using the advice outlined in Blog Her. There is a link to this informative article provided in the Resources section below. The author, Jennifer Satterwhite, explains the things you need to consider before starting a blog and gives some great places that allow you to build a blog from scratch. Some of the more popular blog-building sites are Blogger and Wordpress. They are free to join and offer you all the tools you need for a blog, such as templates and HTML editors.

  4. Step 4

Share your knowledge with others on a bigger scale by joining the Mom Blog Network (link provided below). Here you can read blogs on sensitive subjects, such as moms raising children with disabilities, and you can add your own blog for others to see and read. Think of it as a community to showcase blogs written by moms. Mom Blog Network is partnered with other sites, including FatherClicks Network and ParentsClick Network.

Tips & Warnings
  • Be respectful of other people's opinions. Opinions are what make the world go round, and while you may not agree with everything you read in mom blogs, you can take advice you can use and leave the advice you don't want.
  • Make money with blogs by joining Google Adsense, where you make money every time someone clicks on an ad located on your blog page.
