Instructions

    • 1

Lay your wreath on a section of newspaper. Shake the spray paint can well and spray the surface of the wreath with long, layered strokes until the wreath is fully covered. Allow paint to completely dry for at least 2 to 3 hours before proceeding to the next step.

    • 2

Apply pink and/or white feathers to the wreath, either in bunches of 4 to 6 loose pieces or 2-inch sections cut from a boa, using a dime-sized drop of hot glue. Hold the feather bundles in place for 10 seconds until the glue is cool and set. Continue around the wreath approximately every 4 to 5 inches.

    • 3

Cut a section of wire approximately 8 to 10 inches in length. String the wire through the top of a fancy vintage ball ornament. This will be the centerpiece. Hang it from the top center of the wreath by winding the end of the wire into the base of a branch. Be sure to coil the end of the wire so there are no sharp, protruding edges.

    • 4

Arrange the floral, snowflake, bead, and/or pom-pom picks approximately at the 1, 5 and 9 o’clock positions of your wreath. Apply a drop of hot glue to the back of individual pieces to secure the picks in place.

    • 5

Fill in any remaining openings (3, 7, and 12 o’clock) in the wreath with miscellaneous ornaments such as crystal beads, snowflakes or small vintage cards strung on ribbon.

    • 6

Shake the can of silver spray glitter well and apply several light coats over the entire surface of the wreath to add extra sparkle.

Tips & Warnings

  • In place of the center glass ball ornament, you could use a glittery snowflake, crystal heart, glass angel or other ornate ornament matching the color scheme.

  • Apply spray paint and spray glitter in a well-ventilated area.
