You always new Garfield was a smart and witty cat. So you shouldn’t be surprised that he has his own teaching website. That’s right, Professor Garfield.org offers the comic strip Garfield as your teacher and host to a world of learning.

Instructions

      Log on to Professor Garfield .org to begin your lab adventure. You can view the intro which is entertaining or click “skip” to by pass it.

      Scroll your mouse over “Spark Top” and click on it. This brings you to Sparktop.org. This site allows you to create, talk with friends, post stuff on a message board, win prizes and more.

      Click on “The Reading Ring”. Kids have to read the comic strips to be place them in order. You can reach any of the other activities from this page by clicking on a specific word at the top of the page. Click on “Professor Garfield” to return to the home page.

      Click on “Knowledge Box” to discover this entertaining teaching part of Professor Garfield.org. Choose the grade level that relates to the child. Then choose from math, language arts, science or social studies. Under these subjects you can then choose from a listed activity. When you’re done click on “Professor Garfield” again to return to the home page.

      Click on “Scholarship Options for Kids” and fly with Garfield through the brain. You can also choose to “explore a city”. Two other activities on this link are “Go spelunking in a cave”, or “Search an island for Treasure”. Your child will be entertained when visiting any of these sections of the site.

      Click on ”Music Box” and choose from three different topics to start with. “The Rapp Song”, “Places in the World”, or “We’re Rich”. The song’s are catchy and gets your kids dancing and singing along.

      Click on “9 Cubed”, type in your initials and click “ok”. Pick a character and wait for Professor Garfield to load the questions. Choose an opponent. When the game begins the cube will pick a question. Answer the question correctly and you get points. The winner with the most points wins.
