Sometimes an emergency arises when you have no alternative but to get a quick loan. After a bankruptcy, though, it may seem impossible to get the money you need. Luckily, there are some places that cater to those who have gone through a bankruptcy and need money quickly. Here is how to find them.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Apply for a payday loan. Most towns have payday loan stores that will loan you a percentage of your next pay check. You are required to write a postdated check for the amount borrowed. The company will then cash that check when your next payroll check is deposited in your account. Many of these do not run credit checks, so bankruptcy isn't a problem.

  2. Step 2

Contact banks that only deal with bankruptcy cases for car loans. You may be able to find some by looking at ads in your phone book, or you can go online to contact companies such as Bankruptcy Car Loans or Bankruptcy Auto Financing.

  3. Step 3

Get a secured loan. If you already have a car, you can get a loan by using your car title as equity. Car title loan companies are very common and some can be found on the Internet, including Auto Pawn. These types of companies will decide on what your car is worth and loan you an amount that can be covered by the sale of your car if you are unable to pay back the loan.

Tips & Warnings
  • Check out Money Tree Payday Loans, a national payday loan company.
  • Only get a loan if you are sure you will be able to pay the money back. Companies that deal with high-risk loans tend to prosecute those who do not pay them back.
