A foam-candy corn and bead necklace is easy for children to make for Halloween and is a great craft to put in candy bags

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Craft foam in orange, yellow and white
  • Brown nylon cord
  • Beads in orange, yellow and white
  • Wiggly eyes
  • Permanent marker
  • Craft glue
  • Hole punch

Make a Foam Candy Corn and Bead Necklace

  1. Step 1

Cut the whole shape of the candy corn from the orange foam. Then cut the bottom third from yellow and the top third from the white foam. Glue them together.

  2. Step 2

On the orange piece, glue on some wiggly eyes and draw a smile with a permanent marker.

  3. Step 3

Measure the cord to fit over the child's head and add 3 inches. Fill all but the 3 extra inches with the yellow, orange and white pattern.

  4. Step 4

Punch a hole in the top of the candy corn and feed both ends of the cord through. Tie it in a knot large enough that it won't fit through the hole. Add a drop of craft glue to make sure it doesn't come untied and you loose all your beads. Once the glue is dry, the necklace is ready to wear.

Tips & Warnings
  • You can make the same necklace and substitute the candy corn with a pumpkin.
