How to Make a Chest Look Younger
As we get older, the aging process becomes evident on the entire body, not just the face. Skin all over begins to lose its elasticity and succumb to wrinkles, fine lines, age spots and sun damage. Female chests are more likely to display their age than male chests. This is because women's shirts, dresses and blouses often showcase the upper chest and cleavage whereas men usually have their chests covered. As a result, women are more prone to sun spots, wrinkles and fine lines on the chest. There are, however, many things that can be done to make a chest look younger. Does this Spark an idea?

1
Apply moisturizer to the chest. As we age, skin becomes drier. In order to appear younger, skin must be hydrated and supple.

2
Wear sunscreen on the chest area daily. The sun's rays are one of the largest contributors to the aging process. Protect your skin by choosing a broad-spectrum sunscreen with a high SPF rating. If you'll be in the sun for long periods of time, opt for protective clothing as well.

3
Use a bleaching cream on any sun or age spots on your chest. Bleaching creams are available over-the-counter in most drugstores, and will gradually lighten dark spots. Be diligent in your application for several weeks and you'll see results. You can also talk to your dermatologist about prescription-strength lightening creams.

4
Rub an anti-wrinkle cream on your chest nightly. Virtually all facial anti-wrinkle creams can be used on the chest area. Opt for a cream that contains hydroxy acids, which have been shown to encourage cell regeneration, thus making skin look younger.

5
Get a chemical peel performed on your chest. Commonly performed on faces, chemical peels burn away the superficial layers of skin to reveal younger, less-damaged skin below. Your skin will be sensitive for several days following a peel, and usually a series of peels is required in order to achieve satisfactory results.

6
Consider laser therapy on your chest skin. Intense laser light will target areas of darkened pigment on your chest, such as age spots and sun damage. The top layers of skin will be removed and new skin cell production is encouraged. Since laser therapy also encourages collagen production, your chest skin will be firmer and younger looking after treatments.
