Wii is a gaming console made by Nintendo. Since its introduction several years ago the Wii has been one of the best selling video game consoles. When the Wii first came on the market it was one of the hottest selling products and was hard to locate in local stores. Even today there are new games that are hard to locate for the Wii system. Here is how to locate the Wii system and its games:

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Computer
  1. Step 1

Check with your local electronics stores. Electronics Boutique, Best Buy, Circuit City and Walmart are some of the local chains that carry the Wii products. Many of these stores are located in you local malls. Pull out a telephone directory to get the telephone numbers and start calling around before you waste your gasoline to check each store for availability.

  2. Step 2

Go to your computer and sign into eBay (see Resources below). EBay is an auction site that carries a wide variety of products, and electronic gaming is a wide seller on this auction site. Many Wii products are sold by individuals on eBay, so just register and bid to your heart's content.

  3. Step 3

Go to your computer and log into Craigs'List. On your local Craig'sList page, you will find a varierty of people who are trying to sell their items (see Resources below). You can probably get a good buy there; however you must understand that products that you purchase from Craig'sList are not guaranteed.

  4. Step 4

Check you local newspapers for Wii products. You may be able to locate Wii products that are being sold by individuals. This is another means of procuring your Wii system.

  5. Step 5

Put a notice up on your college bulletin board stating that you are looking for a Wii console. You may be able to work out a deal with one of your fellow students.

  6. Step 6

Go to a flea market or swap meet. You can find many Wii products that are being sold at these meets.

  7. Step 7

Check with your friends, neighbors and family. Let them know that you are in the market for a Wii console and its games. Word of mouth by your family and friends can land you a really decent price for a gently used Wii.

Tips & Warnings
  • Be aware that if you procure a Wii system used from either a flea market, Craig'sList or eBay you are not getting a warranty on the item. If you choose to use an auction site it would be to your benefit to pay via Paypal. That way you can log a complaint and obtain resolution if there is a problem with your purchase
