How to Support Pro-Life Causes

Pro-life groups and organizations include local groups, state programs and national organizations. They all have needs and rely on people to help them as they save our greatest asset--the unborn babies that will be our future.

Instructions

    • 1

Donate money. It helps pay for the programs and services they provide. Some of the money will help pay administrative costs, but those also help to save the lives of unborn babies. If the secretary isn’t paid her salary, there would be no one to answer the phone when someone calls asking for help dealing with a pregnancy. Also, when you donate and are offered a T-shirt or to be put on the mailing list, decline the shirt and ask to be emailed the information instead. This will save the organization the price of a shirt as well as the monthly or quarterly postage. Over time, this will add up. Be careful which organizations you donate money to; many of them support pro-abortion groups.

    • 2

Give of your time. Offer to answer phones or even clean the office. It doesn’t matter what you do. If you have a lot of time to give, offer to take the classes provided to the group's counselors and educators. Speak with the mothers-to-be and help save the unborn, one life at a time. Call or email the pro-life organization of your choice and ask what you can do to help.

    • 3

Get on all the pro-choice mailing lists you can find. This serves two purposes. First, it provides you information about what is being done and how. The best argument for being pro-life is often found in the propaganda from the pro-choice organization’s information. Read it and find the flaws. Secondly, it costs the pro-choice group money to mail that information to you. That is less money it has to take another life. Again, this money will add up over time.

    • 4

Participate in pro-life fundraisers. Even if you don’t have much money to give, go to walk-a-thons and dinners. Get as many sponsors as you can. Enlist others to participate with you. Involve your own family. This is a great way to teach your children that each life, no matter how small, is significant and has a purpose.

    • 5

Donate your talents. If you are an artist, offer to draw the logo for a T-shirt. If you are a writer, write the newsletter. If you can type, offer to type letters and forms. Nothing you offer to do will be too small.

    • 6

Share the group's information with others. Talk to your friends and family, even strangers if you must. If possible, share the information with the other organizations you belong to. Tell them about what the pro-life organization needs and how they can help, too.

    • 7

Vote pro-life. Sometimes it can be hard to tell which candidates are truly pro-life. Call their headquarters or check out their websites. If you find out they are not pro-life, tell them you will not be voting for them because they do not value human life. You can even help campaign for the pro-life candidates. Write letters to elected officials, from you local area all the way to the White House. Let them know that you are pro-life, you vote pro-life and you will not sacrifice another baby’s life by voting for that candidate. This is a national and international cause.
