How to Play "Space Invaders" for Free
Space Invaders is classic gaming at its best. In the early days of arcades, kids lined up to defend earth from the aliens trying to destroy it in this great game. It is nearly impossible to find an arcade version of Space Invaders these days. However, classic games are popping up on the Internet for you to play for free. You'll need to have Flash and Shockwave installed on your internet browser in order to play. Go ahead and relive your childhood through the blasting of aliens!

Go to Classic 80's Arcade Games Website. See the link in our Resources section.

Scroll down to the "Space Invaders" button under the Flash and Shockwave menu. There are two available.

Click on the second one. It will take you to a new Website.

Click "Play Space Invaders." It will load. The game will start.

Use the Space Bar to fire and the arrow keys to move. Remember, the point of the game is to blast the space invaders before they reach your barricades. Shoot out the closest aliens first and work your way back. They will get faster as you approach. Be quick in order to get them before they gain speed!

Click on "Play Space Invaders." The game will load.

Play the game. Move the gun turret with the arrow keys on your keyboard. Shoot with the space bar.

Tips & Warnings
Try to aim at the red space ship. Shooting it down gets you extra points!
Do not shoot out your own barricades! You'll need them later.
