The days of handwriting envelope addresses one at a time are long since past. Users who own word processing software applications, like Word 2003, never have to handwrite an address onto an envelope again. Instead, they can simply use the envelope addressing wizard and easily create professional and legible envelope addresses in minutes.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Open the envelope wizard. Click on “File” and then on “New.” A window will open to the right, select “On My Computer.” In the box that opens click on the “Letters and Mailings” tab. Then click on the envelope wizard icon.

  2. Step 2

    Select the settings. Under the first box that opens select “Create Just One Envelope.” Then click the “OK” button to continue.

  3. Step 3

    Enter in delivery address. Click under the “Delivery Address” field and enter in the desired delivery address.

  4. Step 4

    Enter in return address. Click under the “Return Address” field and type in the desired return address.

  5. Step 5

    Select envelope size. Click on the “Options” button and use the size drop-down menu to determine your envelope size for printing.

Tips & Warnings
  • This feature can also be used to print a list of envelope addresses.
  • Make sure you buy the right envelopes and that you follow the directions on using them for printing for optimal results.
