Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Cleanser
  • Moisturizer
  • Foundation
  • Face powder
  • Eye shadow
  • Eye liner
  • Smudge brush
  • Mascara
  • Lip gloss
  • Concealer
  1. Step 1

Prepare your skin. Before you begin makeup application, it is essential that you cleanse your skin. This reduces the possibility of clogged pores and breakouts. Cleanse your skin and gently towel dry. Follow with your favorite moisturizer. Before you proceed to the next step, allow the moisturizer to absorb into your skin for at least 10 minutes.

  2. Step 2

Apply face makeup. Dab foundation onto your face using your fingers. Use your fingers, a damp sponge or a foundation brush to blend the foundation into your skin. If you have any blemishes or imperfections that you want to conceal, apply concealer for extra coverage. Once your foundation and concealer are complete, apply face powder to set your makeup.

  3. Step 3

Create the L.C. eye. She likes a sophisticated smokey eye, bold yet toned down so it doesn’t look overdone. Apply a flesh toned eye shadow to your eyelids. Use a darker shadow to contour your eye and once the application is complete, blend the two shadows together. Line both your top and bottom lid with eye liner. Use your smudge brush to soften the eyeliner under your eyes and if necessary, soften the eye liner on your eye lid. Follow up with a coat or two of mascara.

  4. Step 4

Create a sun kissed glow. Lightly apply the bronzer to your forehead, nose and cheeks. Blend the bronzer into your skin so it is evenly distributed. Once the bronzer is complete, apply blush to the apples of your cheeks.

  5. Step 5

Apply some gloss. L.C. wears nude color glosses to enhance her lips. Apply lip gloss to your lips and blend it.

Tips & Warnings
  • If you’re not feeling up to wearing lip gloss, use cherry flavored Chapstick instead. This gives your lips a soft glow and some sheen.
  • Don’t forget to smudge the eyeliner. This smokey eye is simple and softer than the average smokey eye you may see throughout the magazines and on the runway.
