Things You'll Need:
- Firefox
- Google Notebook installed
- Status bar enabled on Firefox

Step 1
Enable your status bar on FirefoxInstalled Google Notebook Add-on on your Firefox browser and make sure that you have enabled your status bar. If you haven't, you won't see the Notebook icon on the bottom right corner of your screen. In order to enable it, go to "View" on your menu and make sure you click "Status Bar." (See Resources below.)

Step 2
You'll find the Google Notebook icon at the bottom of your screenClick on the "Notebook" icon on the bottom right corner of your screen. From now on and until you close the Notebook (by clicking on the "X" at the top right corner), the application will remain opened in all your Firefox tabs and windows.

Click on the star button to save a clipGo to one of the websites that you would like to save. While you are navigating, you will see that the Notebook has an icon where it says "Clip" right next to a yellow star. By clicking on that icon, a link to the website you are browsing will be saved.

Step 4
Organize your clip and NotebooksFind a menu to organize your clips on the left side of the Notebook. You can save them individually or create different Notebooks by themes or sites. This way you can have more than one clip in one Notebook.

Step 5
Add comments to your clipsKnow that every time you save a clip, you can click below the text and add some comments to the clip. Everything will be saved automatically and you can check it from any other computer.

Step 6
Access your Notebooks and all the clips you saved there from your Google account. This will allow you to export them as Word documents, in case you want a back-up copy on your computer.
