How to Play Double Deuce Poker

Double Deuce Poker is a variation of video poker, available for play for free on the Website "Pogo." The goal is the same as regular video poker--make the best possible five-card hand--except the presence of one or more "two" cards multiplies your winnings.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Internet connection

    Playing

  1. Step 1

    Make a wager, between one and five credits, and click "Draw."

  2. Step 2

    The player is dealt five cards.

  3. Step 3

    Select which cards to keep and which cards to exchange for new ones by clicking the card or the "Hold" button beneath it. Click "Draw" to change cards.

  4. Step 4

    Money is earned on hands with a pair of Jacks or better. Full scoring is described in the next step.

  5. Step 5

    The presence of one, two, three or four "two" cards in a hand multiplies your winnings by two, four, eight and 16, respectively.

  6. Step 6

    If the design on your cards spell out the word "Jackpot," you win the amount of jackpot money shown in the upper right side of the screen.

  7. Scoring

  8. Step 1

    A pair of Jacks or better earns back the player's original bet.

  9. Step 2

    Two pairs earns twice the player's bet.

  10. Step 3

    Three of a kind earns three times the player's bet.

  11. Step 4

    A straight earns eight times the player's bet.

  12. Step 5

    A flush earns 12 times the player's bet.

  13. Step 6

    A full house earns 15 times the player's bet.

  14. Step 7

    Four of a kind earns 60 times the player's bet.

  15. Step 8

    A straight flush earns 200 times the player's bet.

  16. Step 9

    A royal flush earns 2,000 times the player's bet.

Tips & Warnings
  • Remember, deuces are simply multipliers in this game. They are not wild cards, so only hold on to them if you think you can win with your remaining cards.
