Things You'll Need:
- Computer Keyboard
- Cotton Swab
- Isopropyl alcohol
-
Step 1
Before doing any type of cleaning make sure to turn off your computer and disconnect the computer keyboard from it.
-
Step 2
Once the keyboard is unhooked, turn it upside down and grab the can of compressed air. With the keyboard still upside down, tap it and watch all of the dust and grime fall out. Repeat this step 1 or 2 more times until nothing falls from the keyboard when you turn it upside down.
-
Step 3
Take the cotton swab and dip it into the alcohol before cleaning the sides of the keyboard.

on 5/5/2009 Keeping a keyboard clean can have good health implications. Some people don't realize how dirty it can get, especially if you use it often.
