Tired of all that dust and clutter in and on your computer keyboard? Follow these simple steps to ensure your computer keyboard is squeaky clean!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Before doing any type of cleaning make sure to turn off your computer and disconnect the computer keyboard from it.

  2. Step 2

Once the keyboard is unhooked, turn it upside down and grab the can of compressed air. With the keyboard still upside down, tap it and watch all of the dust and grime fall out. Repeat this step 1 or 2 more times until nothing falls from the keyboard when you turn it upside down.

  3. Step 3

Take the cotton swab and dip it into the alcohol before cleaning the sides of the keyboard.

Tips & Warnings
  • If you want a more thorough cleaning, remove all of the keys from the keyboard and take a moist cloth and wipe away the dust. Also use the can of compressed air to vanish away grime particles.
  • Never use a wet towel on your computer keyboard!
