Shower guests write well wishes for the bride on the note cards that hang from this hanger. The bride hangs her dress on the hanger for all the well wishes to come true.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • A satin hanger
  • satin ribbon
  • wedding themed blank note cards
  • Glue gun/glue sticks
  • Decorative hole puncher
  • embellishments of choice
  1. Step 1

    Heat your glue gun.

  2. Step 2

Measure and cut enough strands of ribbon to attach one to each note card. Measure your ribbon to be long enough to loop over the hanger so you have two ends meeting at the note card.

  3. Step 3

With your glue gun, dab a little glue to adhere ribbon to hanger.

  4. Step 4

Punch hole in note card and attach ribbon ends through hole, tying ends into a bow. Or glue your ribbon to the cards.

  5. Step 5

Loop additional ribbon around hanger if desired. Add embellishments such as pearls, flowers or whatever fits into the theme or season of the wedding. I made one of these for a friend who married in the Fall and was having an Autumn themed wedding. I used Autumn colors and decorated the hanger with silk leaves.

  6. Step 6

Pass hanger around at the shower and have each guest write a message and sign their name inside a note card.

Tips & Warnings
  • Use pens with ink in the colors of the wedding for guests to writhe their notes.
  • Use care with the glue gun, it is hot.
  • When applying glue, go slowly, too much glue will leak out from under the ribbon when attached to the hanger.
