Fall is here and the leaves are changing. Curl up with a nice cup of hot mulled cider. This recipe is great for family gatherings, fall parties, or holiday brunch.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 quarts apple cider
  • 1 tsp. whole allspice
  • 1 tsp. whole cloves
  • 3" cinnamon stick
  • dash of nutmeg
  1. Step 1

    In a large pot, combine brown sugar, salt and apple cider. Tie spices in a handkerchief or cheesecloth and add to cider.

  2. Step 2

    Slowly bring cider to a boil. Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer for 20 minutes.

  3. Step 3

    Remove spices before serving. Serve hot. Use cinnamon sticks as stirrers if desired. Enjoy!
