How to Make Cappuccino Mix from scratch

Your daily cup of cappuccino can get quite pricey, plus it's not always convenient to stop and make a purchase on the way to work. This is a simple recipe to make homemade Cappuccino Mix. If you decide to share, scoop some into a pretty jar and give it as a gift. It is inexpensive and delicious!

Things You'll Need

• 1 cup instant coffee creamer
• 1 cup instant chocolate drink mix
• 2/3 cup instant coffee crystals
• 1/2 cup granulated sugar
• 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
• 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg

Instructions

1. In a large mixing bowl, combine 1 cup instant coffee creamer, cup instant chocolate drink mix (such as Nesquick), 2/3 cup instant coffee granulated, 1/2 cup granulated sugar, 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon, and 1/4 teaspoon of ground nutmeg. Stir all ingredients by hand until well blended.

   This is your Cappuccino mix. Store it in an airtight container until ready to use.

2. To serve: Scoop 3 Tbsp. of Cappuccino mix into a mug. Add 6 ounces of boiling water. Stir and enjoy.

   Please note: This cappuccino mix will NOT foam.

3. This recipe makes three cups of dry mix, but can easily be doubled or tripled if necessary. When giving as a gift, be sure to attach the directions from step 2 so the recipient knows how to make a delicious treat with your gift!
