I found it to be very easy to pick up items to sell on eBay simply by
attending local garage sales. The main reason why people have garage sales is to get rid of unwanted or unused items. You will find it very easy to negotiate price, pick up things for free or in a bundle deal, take them home, clean them up, take pictures, then list them on eBay.
Step 2

Stores are always having clearance sales, or closeouts, this is a great way also to snatch up your eBay inventory items at below wholesale prices, always remember that your local newspaper can be your aid in finding which stores has what on sale.
Step 3

Find out when and where there are going to be estate or absolute auctions in your area. This by far can be the best way to start your eBay business. Also storage room auctions can make you a great deal of money. The whole idea is to buy cheap, then resell on eBay.
