Easy-To-Make Peach Cobbler

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 large can sliced peaches (drained)
  • 1 c. self rising flour
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. evaporated milk
  • Apple pie spice
  • 1 stick butter(melted)
  1. Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large mixing bowl, mix the flour, sugar, & milk together.
The best pan for this recipe is an 8x8 baking pan. Place your melted butter in the pan.

  2. Step 2

In a separate mixing bowl, place the drained large can of peaches and generously sprinkle with the Apple Pie Spice, mix thoroughly with a spatula and recoat the peaches a second time, mixing again, then pour the peaches into the pan of melted butter.

  3. Step 3

Pour the batter on top of the peaches and place in the oven for approximately 30 minutes or until the crust is a "golden brown" color.
Let stand until cooled and top with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
    Serves 4-6.

Tips & Warnings
  • The richness of this recipe is largely dependent upon the evaporated milk.
  • Oven times may vary based on wattage - be sure not to overcook!
