Unique Ways to Propose a Marriage
Unique Ways to Propose a Marriage

The four words a woman waits to hear her entire life after a long wait for the three words "I love you" is "Will you marry me?" Why be that regular guy who just waits for the right moment to pop the question and get down on one knee? Spice it up, guys! Make it fun, make it romantic, make it memorable.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Tell your lady you want to take her for a walk on the beach. Have a friend go ahead of you and light up votive candles on the sand that spell out "Will you marry me?" When you walk her over to it, get down on one knee and propose.

  2. Step 2

Have a sky-writing company spell out her name and "Will you marry me?" in the sky as you take her out for a nice walk.

  3. Step 3

Take her to a game and ask the advertising department to announce it over half time.

  4. Step 4

Make an excuse for a barbecue or get together with family and friends and have random people each wear a letter of the sentence "Will you marry me?" She will be asking around why they are wearing these shirts and play it off until all the "letters" have arrived. Then ask them for a group picture and have her take it. She will see them all line up to spell out the words "Will you marry me?"

  5. Step 5

If you have access to a local Seaquarium, call to find out if you are able to take her to view the fish, dolphins and other creatures and have them scuba dive into the water with a sign that says "[Name], will you marry me?"

  6. Step 6

Go out for a night of dancing and request the DJ to play your song or favorite slow jam, and at the end have him announce that you would like to marry her.

Tips & Warnings
  • Get creative with it. Remember this is the girl you've been waiting for all your life, the one you want to marry, so make it memorable for the both of you. The more personal touch you give, the more romantic it is, and the more she will appreciate it.
  • If you get rejected, it's not the end of the world. Maybe she's not ready... but in public there are less chances of that happening!
