How to Apply for Providian Credit Card

Instructions

1. Log on to the Internet from your computer and access the Creditland website, which offers a range of credit cards from which to choose. You can select a card by brand, bank or interest rate.

2. Scroll down the left side navigation bar to the bottom and click on "Select for Your Special Needs."

3. Choose the link: "Credit Cards by Bank."

4. Scroll across the page until you see the link to Discover. There are several more banks listed here such as Chase and American Express.

5. Click on the "Discover" link and you will be taken to a new page. Here you can scroll down the page and find the Discover card that suits your needs best.

6. Compare the Discover card rates and terms and select one.

7. Click on this card and fill in your personal information on the next page. You will be prompted to provide your address, name, Social Security number, income level as well as any balance transfer information. Your application will be automatically reviewed for approval. The result of your application will be provided in as little as 10 minutes.

• Apply for a card that has a low APR and avoid short term, low balance transfer periods that have a higher overall interest rate.
