Instructions

    • 1

Get out a potato and stick several toothpicks in the back at an angle. These will be the turkey's feathers when you are done.

    • 2

Set several bowls out and put a few drops of food coloring in each. Each bowl should have a different color. Orange, brown, yellow and red are good choices.

    • 3

Add several mini marshmallows to each bowl and mix in the food coloring.

    • 4

Slide the colored marshmallows on the toothpicks and you have your feathers.

    • 5

Cut out a brown face and neck for the turkey from brown construction paper.

    • 6

Glue the face and neck to the front of the potato.

    • 7

Add a pair of google eyes at the top.

    • 8

Cut out a beak and a whittle from your construction paper. Glue them on the face.

Tips & Warnings

  • If you don't have any marshmallows, you can make feathers out of construction paper.

  • If you have feathers from a craft store, you can use those.
