You can easily apply for a Capital One credit card online or by phone. Capital One's website will guide you through each step to receive your card. You will need to have all your personal and financial information ready before you apply online or over the phone. Applying for this card is easy and fast. You may even know your results instantly after applying.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Go online to the website that is listed below in the "Resource" section. You can also call the costumer service hotline for Capital One at 1-800-695-5500 to apply for a credit card by phone.

  2. Step 2

Click on the link for "Most Popular Credit Cards" and enter your zip code when prompted. The website will take you to a page where it compares each credit card and lets you know which each one offers in your area.

  3. Step 3

Look over the choices and decide which one best suits you and your needs. Be aware that some of the cards will only accept you based on your credit score, so plan wisely before trying to apply.

  4. Step 4

Click on the card of your choice, and it will prompt you to another window. Here you will need to fill out the form entirely in order to apply for the card.

  5. Step 5

Click on "Continue," and it will review all your information. Read over everything to make sure that all the information is correct then submit it. Some cards will let you know if you are accepted right away and some may take a couple weeks. If the results page states that you will need to wait for your results, then the company will send you a letter in the mail within a couple weeks.
