Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • HP Advanced Photo Paper (4 x 6 inches or 5 x 7 inches)
  1. Step 1

Open the input and output paper trays, located in the front and back of the printer.

  2. Step 2

Pull out the input tray extension so that the photo paper can feed into the printer correctly.

  3. Step 3

Load anywhere from 15 to 20 sheets of approved paper with the print side (glossy) facing the front of the printer. The paper tray allows the paper to stand up nearly vertically, so make sure the glossy side is facing front.

  4. Step 4

Slide the photo paper to the left side of the input tray. Push the paper down firmly to align all pages and ensure that the rollers inside the machine are touching the first sheet.

  5. Step 5

Move the paper guide so that it fits up against the right edge of the paper. Make sure it does not bend or buckle the photo paper. It should just fit snugly against the paper edges.

Tips & Warnings
  • Some specialty photo papers require less in the paper tray, such as panorama photo paper or photo sticker paper. These should be loaded just one at a time.
  • The manufacturer warns that only HP Advanced Photo Paper should be used to ensure quality images.
