How to Solve the Clock Puzzle in "Silent Hill 2"

Although the main character of the survival horror game Silent HIll 2 will constantly be threatened by horrific nightmare creatures that want to kill him, the hardest part of the game is actually the frustrating puzzle segments. When you explore the Woodside Apartments in the town of Silent Hill you have to solve a puzzle involving setting the proper time on a grandfather clock to proceed to the next area of the game.

Instructions

1. Play through the game until the main character explores the Woodside Apartment Building.

2. 

   Go into the room marked "208" on the second floor and examine the grandfather clock.

3. 

   Push the clock out of the way of the door behind it, and then leave the room and head to room "202."

4. 

   Take the item called the "clock key" from the large hole in the wall.

5. 

   Return to room "208" and use the clock key to open the glass pane on the grandfather clock.

6. 

   Turn the hands of the grandfather clock so that the time reads 9 hours, 10 minutes, and 15 seconds.

Tips & Warnings

• Unlike the other puzzles in the game, the answer to the clock puzzle is the same on all three of the game's difficulty levels.
