Things You'll Need:
- to upgrade wardrobe
- to conserve spending on clothes
-
Step 1
Keep essential clothing as the basis to coordinating wardrobe. Choose pieces that are timeless and of good quality, yet be stylish and frugal.
-
Step 2
Buy at least two dresses, two pair of pants, two blazers, two sweaters, two shirts, three pair of jeans, one of which is fancy enough to wear out and a formal dress or gown if you are starting out with a new or adult look as a woman.
-
Step 3
Look for shoes that are going to have the ability for you to rebuild them at a shoe maker. You will need to have a strong sole on your shoes and a sturdy heal. Make sure that one pair of shoes is dark and the other light. A fantastic wardrobe takes you through all of the seasons.
-
Step 4
Four pair of shoes to start coordinating wardrobe is great for the basic grooming. A stiletto, two medium sized heels and a square heeled everyday shoe is a good way to go for women.
-
Step 5
Purchase four pair of pants, two jeans, one dark suit other than black, a lighter colored blazer, two pullover sweaters, five shirts, three ties, one dark and one unique colored shoe as a man for a starter wardrobe and to help coordinate it.
-
Step 6
Make accessories work the clothes. Buy scarves, bold colored jewelry when you're not wearing gold or diamonds to accentuate dark outfits. Try using a combination or either pastel colored to bring out the color of eyes and the tone of skin.
-
Step 7
Buy two pair of slacks in the same style with one being the lighter version.
