Looking for a quick and unique fall craft project for your family? Try this simple idea using leaves.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • leaves
  • crayons or colored pencils
  • letter paper
  1. Step 1

Go on a leaf hunt: What a fun family activity on a beautiful fall day! The leaves you are searching for should be large, sturdy and in good condition (no tears, or holes). The color of the leaf will not impact this particular project.

  2. Step 2

Ready your work space: Have each person who is crafting choose one leaf from the collection in step one. Next, each person should choose their crayons and/or colored pencils. The more colors used, the more interesting the end product! Lastly, bring one piece of paper to the work space as well.

  3. Step 3

Create a masterpiece: Place the leaf centered, underneath the paper. Then take one of your crayons or colored pencils and gently rub on top of the paper, over the leaf. The shape and ribbing in the leaf will begin to appear. The more pressure you place on your crayon or colored pencil- the clearer the image will become on the page. Enjoy your beautiful fall creations!
