Supplement Income Using the Internet

In today's down market, people are looking for ways to make money. In this article, I will discuss the different ways that I have been able to generate additional income. These might be avenues for you as well.

Step 1

There are several avenues that will allow for you to make decent money online even in today's market. It might even be better in today's market as opposed to a booming economy because companies see a greater need to advertise. The first step in making money online is to create and grow your own website. To get the most potential from that website, one needs to consider having that site be a blog. This will open more doors to you for potential income. Typically, these blogs sites will need to be 90 days old and have at least 20 to 30 original content post on them.
Step 2

The next portion is to add Google Adsense. To me, this only makes sense. Your main purpose of a blog is to draw attention to your page. The more traffic that a page gets, the more impressions that your adsense gets. Ultimately, making you money. The big money though, is derive from people actually clicking the Google Adsense. Creating your own widget is not that difficult as Google provides a step by step process that you can complete once approved through Google.
Step 3

Another source of added income is by accepting donations. You can get a "Donation" button through PayPal. It allows for people to donate to you through your site. This is typically done because someone liked your site and wants to help make sure that it stays up.
Step 4

The last thing that I would consider (to me the most important) is that of becoming a member to sites that pay you to blog. I have listed a group of them below that actually are good paying sites. They are in no necessary order. Ultimately, one can stand to make a few thousand dollars a month if they work it right.
