Things You'll Need:
- crayons
- markers
- stickers
- construction paper
-
Step 1
Always make learning fun first and foremost, If you get all upset at your child because they didn't get the right answer they will feel horrible and not want to try learning with you no more, so first thing first set the right tone for the learning. Always praise your child always say good job and be supportive.
-
Step 2
Start off slow and work up the clock as you keep up these learning activities. If you set a time limit of an hour you might be setting too long of a time. Start off slow and always finish one thing at a time if your child wants to do more go right ahead and start another project.
-
Step 3
Now we can start to introduce one color at a time. For instance you can take out a blue crayon a blue marker blue stickers blue play dough and so on.
-
Step 4
Now say who want to color a picture? And hand out paper anything to color on and start to say wow that is a nice color blue. Then you can ask what things are blue and you start talking about different things that are blue. And so on.
-
Step 5
When the child gets bored just move on with the next supply like by saying. Who wants to paint a blue picture?
-
Step 6
Then who wants to stick blue stickers? And so on as long as you keep changing the supply you will have your children's attention.
