   The first step is to decide what kind of game you are looking for, since there are many different types. For example if you like "first person shooters", or perhaps you like the retro arcade games like asteroids, or maybe you are looking for a classic game console game for pc like Super Mario Bros. These are the things you have to think about when looking for games online.

   Next you have to decide whether or not you are willing to pay for a game. If you are willing to pay, you will need a credit card to purchase playing rights. The game' s company will usually give you a code that you can use to download the game from their website. If you are not planning on paying, and are looking for free games, it will be a little harder for you but not impossible.

   Now that you have an idea of what you are looking for, it is time to search. Simply type your specifications into a search engine, my favorite being Google. For example, I like to play Multi player Online First Person Shooters
   (MMO FPS), and I don't like to pay for games, so I Googled "Multi player Online First Person Shooters". Now many items will come up. I would suggest that once you find a game that you think you will like, research the game a little bit to see if there are any feedback from others about the game on the web.

4. Check to see if the website you are downloading the game from is trustworthy. Search the company that makes the game you are looking at to see if it is genuine. And as always if you are going to be buying the game, be extremely careful about giving out your information.
   As a little hint, my favorite game that I have ever played and was free is called War Rock. It is a Multi player online game that is played as a First person shooter.

   I would recommend looking to see if the game has a free trial before buying. It always helps to decide if you actually like the game before you buy it. Once you are sure it is the game you want and you have verified the website. Type in your information, and you are ready to buy, and download the game.

6. Now that you have the game, load it up, and have fun.

• Beware of false web sites, do your research before you download anything, so as not to download spy ware, ad-ware, viruses, etc.
• Do not give out personal information unless you know you can trust the company.
• Be very careful about giving out credit card information. DO YOUR HOMEWORK.
