Things You'll Need:
- Water
- Heat Source
- Container to boil water in
- Fork
- Dried Lemmons/Limes
- Coffe/Tea mug
- Sweetner (optional)
-
Step 1
Begin by boiling 16-20 ounces of water in a tea kettle or another suitable container.
-
Step 2
Dried_Limes_LemonsTake two or three dried lemons/limes and (with a fork) poke holes on the opposite sides of the lemon/lime. This will allow water to flow in and out of the lemon/lime which will flavor the water and release the active ingredients that help relieve your problems.
-
Step 3
Add the lemons/limes to the boiling water and allow the lemons/limes to boil and soften for five minutes.
-
Step 4
Next, use the fork to squish the lemons/limes against the side of the tea kettle or pot. Then allow them to fill with water again. Repeat this a couple times. Soon the water will change color. When you have a brown or black color, the dried lemon/lime tea is ready to drink. You can throw the used lemon/lime away into your compost pile (think green:)
-
Step 5
It is best to drink this solution as is, but if you need to, you can add a small amount of sweetener.

on 2/26/2009 Diarrhea is the way that the body throws off bacteria. Staying hydrated is the most important thing to do. The lemon tea should do wonders to calm the intestines. 5*
