How to Make Barbecue Chicken

My family loves Barbecue Chicken. This is a quick & easy recipe to enjoy delicious Barbecue Chicken.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 2 packs of chicken parts, legs, wings, thighs.
  • 2 bottles of Barbque Sauce.
  • 1 stick of Butter cubed
  • Salt & pepper
  • Old Bay Seasoning
  • Garlic Powder
  • Lemon Pepper
  • Roasting Pan
  • Aluminum Foil
  • 1 & 1/2 cups water
  1. Step 1

    Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

  2. Step 2

    Wash Chicken & place in Roasting pan. Season chicken very well with all seasonings. Place cubed butter on every piece of chicken.

  3. Step 3

    Pour water on side of roasting pan, so that it goes under the chicken. Do not pour on chicken ( This will wash off seasoning) Cover tightly with foil and place in oven for 50 minutes.

  4. Step 4

    Next be very careful and drain SOME of the water off the chicken. Pour Barbecue sauce over all of the chicken. Place back in oven covered with foil for an additional 20 to 30 minutes.

Tips & Warnings
  • Honey Barbecue Sauce
  • Maple Brown Sugar Barbecue Sauce
  • Hickory Barbecue Sauce
  • Any of these sauces will give your chicken a wonderful flavor
  • Before applying sauce put honey over chicken & then add Barbecue sauce..Yummy!!
  • When draining water off of the hot chicken be sure to use oven mitts or kitchen towels, so that you will not get burned.
