control your dogs barking
control your dogs barking

All dogs bark, And just like many humans some have a little to much to say to often.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • empty can
  • spare change
  • chew toy
  • exercise time
  1. Step 1

Daily exercise a couple of times a day is not only healthy for you and your pet; it helps him burn off energy.

If unable to walk, jog or run than try a little extra play time sessions. He will burn off some steam and you will be helping yourself loose calories and improve your health as well.

  2. Step 2

Let him chew his stress away. Chewing occupies a lot of time and greatly reduces stress.

Before leaving home; try rubbing your hands all over his favorite chew toy or treat. This leaves your scent on his toy so he'll be occupied trying to figure what you are up to.

  3. Step 3

Grab an empty can, Soda, pop, coffee or any aluminum or tin style can. Throw in some extra change and seal the top.

Whenever your around and he starts barking and starts getting a little out of control shak the can in front of him.

This works great to teach him not to beg too.

Tips & Warnings
  • Using a body harness found at wal mart, petsmart or petco instead of a collar will stop hime from pulling you around on those walks
  • Dogs bark thats what they do; So have patents with them and be consistent that way they understand what is it you expect from them
  • Please do not debark your pet
