So easy and fun! Kids and adults love popcorn balls. Give them as gifts or give them out for Halloween! This is an easy recipe to teach you how to make them!!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • To make twenty Halloween Popcorn Balls you'll need:
  • 5 bags of microwave popcorn (butter and salt flavored) popped
  • 2 C. sugar
  • 1 1/3 c. water
  • 1/2 light corn syrup
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract

Open all of the popcorn out of bags and pour into a big bowl or pot.

  2. Step 2

In a pot bring sugar, water, vanilla and corn syrup to just before boil. Pour over popcorn and gently toss so that all of your popcorn coats evenly. As you pour, alternate "sprinkling" the sprinkles throughout so that all of the popcorn has some Halloween color! Let it cool a bit so you can touch it.

  3. Step 3

Grease your hands with butter or oil and gently roll popcorn into balls about 2 1/2 inches in diameter. Eye it as you go so you have enough for 12.

  4. Step 4

Place Halloween Popcorn Balls on a cookie sheet with waxed paper to let them cool completely.

  5. Step 5

Place each goodie into a clear plastic treat bag and tie it with black and orange ribbons! CUTE!!

Tips & Warnings
  • Be very careful with the hot sugar mixture. It will burn your hands if you touch it too soon!
