The G major scale is one of the many scales you can play on the violin. This scale has one sharp which is the F sharp.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Violin
  • Scale Book(optional)
  • Other violin accesories like rosin, shoulder rest, ect
  1. Step 1
    The G string, D string, A string, and E string from bottom to top.
    The G string, D string, A string, and E string from bottom to top.

    Play G on the G string which is open G (no fingers).

  2. Step 2

    Play A on the G string which is index finger on the G string.

  3. Step 3

    Play B (middle finger on G string), C (ring finger on G string),and D (open D string).

  4. Step 4

    Play E (index finger on D string), and F is high middle finger D string because there is a sharp in F. Play G (ring finger on D string) and you have played one octave in G Major!

  • Try to stay in tune
