How to Love A Sagittarian Woman

Ah, Sagittarians ... born in late November to mid-December and known for many personality traits - some endearing, others not as much. Although their personality can differ due to other factors, they can often be a challenging sign to have as a long-time partner. This article will provide some tips and suggestions on how to love a Sagittarian woman without losing your sanity!

1. 
   Educate Yourself

   Sheryl Crow's "Strong Enough" would certainly be a perfect theme song for being a Sagittarian woman's significant other. Educate yourself on Sagittarian personality traits. Mostly extroverted, Sag's (soft g) have been positively described as "Fun", "Flirty", "The Life of the Party", and "Magnets that bring people together". However, other negative adjectives have also been used such as, "Thoughtless", "Heartless", "Obnoxious" and "****'s of the Zodiac" (once told to me by a DEAR friend of mine and although I should have been offended, I actually saw (Sag's are extremely philosophical as well) how our personalities could be misconstrued as such. By learning about the sign, you can be prepared and know how to handle a situation if (more likely when) it happens.

   Get Creative!

   Learn to think outside of the box. Sag's tend to be very active people whether indoors or out and don't do well sitting for long periods of time. Excursions do NOT have to be expensive, but appeal to both the physical and mental - perhaps ride bicycles up to the local bookstore and have coffee and read the paper/books together, or take the dog for a walk and talk about philosophy.

   Romance Ahead!

   ROMANCE COUNTS! Sagittarians are fast-moving individuals, but that doesn't mean that romance is dead and we won't slow down if the situation is right. Again, be CREATIVE! Prepare a fruit plate and a bubble bath for two! Make up cards with a variety of questions on them (again, appealing to the mental), open a bottle of wine and sit in front of the fireplace together and ask each other the questions, you might be surprised by some of the answers!

   No Wallflowers!

   Make sure that you're comfortable in social situations. Sagittarians are VERY SOCIAL beings and like to be around several different types of individuals. Do not expect that if you aren't comfortable that your Sagittarian date will want to leave to make YOU feel better. We will still continue to work the room with or without you!

   Watch Out!

   Although Sag's are usually a friendly and jovial sign, be cautious - when challenged, Sag's may react differently that what you would normally expect. Sag's do not normally run from a fight, we will stand for what we believe in, even if we talk you to DEATH just so you'll give in...and some times, that works to your advantage just for some peace and quiet.

   Be Affectionate!

   Sagittarians are usually a very "touchy/feely" kind of sign. During conversations it is not uncommon for a Sag. to put her hand on the arm of the person she is talking to, or hug people she may hardly know. Those who wish to pursue a relationship with a Sagittarian woman will also need to be (or learn to be) very affectionate. They easily tire of the "norm" and if you are not paying due enough attention to her, you can expect a quick end to your relationship.

   Loyal to A Fault

   When with a Sagittarian woman, there is NO ROOM FOR JEALOUSY in the relationship! Sag's are very spirited (hence, why they are half horse)and they are usually flirty with everyone they meet! As their partner, you must learn to handle this as the minute they sense any type of jealousy, they will again, quickly leave the situation. Remember, our personalities can often be misconstrued, but Sag's are very loyal if you can learn to handle them!
