Clean Cereamic Tiles
Clean Cereamic Tiles

Whether you just moved into a new place or you are remodeling your home, getting tile flooring will leave dust and grout on your tile for weeks. This helpful way to clean tile will help get rid of excess grout and dust that keeps coming up.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

In a bucket, add 1 cup water to equal parts vinegar. Vinegar helps seal the grout. Vinegar does have a strong odor, but it dissipates quickly.

  2. Step 2

Mop your home, making sure to get every last corner. Careful however, if you have wood or composite borders, instead of tile borders. Too much water will make the wood swell.

  3. Step 3

Clean your floors everyday (if possible) for best results. It will take about 2 weeks for you to see the results of your work.

Tips & Warnings
  • For stains, mopping in a circular motion instead of up and down will help remove them.
  • You can also use Mr. Clean, powder soap or hydrogen peroxide.
  • Do not use bleach, as bleach will discolor tile and grout.
  • Careful with wood or composite borders. Do not use too much water around them or they will swell.
