Instructions

  1. Snickers Stuffed Peanut Butter Cookie

    • 1

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

    • 2

Whisk 1 3/4 cups of all-purpose flour, 1/2 tsp. of baking soda, 1/2 tsp. of baking powder and 1/4 tsp. of salt together in a large bowl. Set aside.

    • 3

Add 1/2 stick of unsalted, room temperature butter; 1/2 cup of creamy or crunchy peanut butter; 1/2 cup of white sugar; and 1/2 cup of light brown sugar, packed, in a mixing bowl. Beat the ingredients on medium-high speed until they are well combined and fluffy. Add 1 tsp. of vanilla and 1 egg and beat on low just until the ingredients are combined.

    • 4

Pour the dry ingredients into the mixing bowl. Beat all of the ingredients on low speed to combine them.

    • 5

Stir in 1 tbsp. of milk and 1/4 cup of honey until blended. Add 1 cup of chocolate chips, if desired, to give the cookies more of a chocolate flavor.

    • 6

Use a tablespoon measuring spoon to scoop out a tablespoon of dough. Level the dough off evenly so you have uniform size cookies. Form a ball with the dough and press 1 bite-sized miniature Snickers candy bar into the center. Press the dough around the candy so it is completely concealed. Continue with the remaining cookies.

    • 7

Line a baking sheet with wax paper or a silicone baking mat. Place all of the cookies 3 inches apart on the lined baking sheet.

    • 8

Refrigerate any remaining cookies while the first batch is baking. Bake the cookies for 11 to 14 minutes or until the edges begin to brown.

    • 9

Leave the cookies on the baking pan to cool for 5 minutes. Transfer the cookies to a wire baking rack until they cool completely.

    Snickers Peanut Butter Squared Cookie

    • 10

Preheat the oven to 350 F.

    • 11

Add 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 tsp. of baking soda, 1 tsp. of baking powder and 1/2 tsp. of salt to a medium size bowl. Whisk the ingredients until blended.

    • 12

Combine 1 stick of unsalted, room temperature butter, 1 cup of creamy or crunchy peanut butter, 1 cup of white sugar and 1/2 cup of packed, light brown sugar together in a stand mixer, or mixing bowl if you are using a hand mixer. Beat the ingredients on medium-high speed until light and fluffy.

    • 13

Add 2 eggs to the mixer and beat until combined. Stir in 2 tbsp. of milk and 2 tsp. vanilla. Beat in the dry ingredients just until the dough is formed.

    • 14

Fold 2 cups of coarsely chopped Snickers Peanut Butter Squared candy bars.

    • 15

Line a baking sheet with wax paper or a silicone baking mat.

    • 16

Use a tablespoon measuring spoon to scoop out tablespoons of dough. Add 1 cup of white sugar to a small bowl. Roll each cookie ball in the sugar to coat.

    • 17

Place the sugar-coated cookies on the lined baking mat, spacing them 3 inches apart. Press the tines of a fork across each ball of dough and again crosswise to create textured, slightly flattened cookies.

    • 18

Refrigerate leftover dough until the first batch of cookies is baked.

    • 19

Bake cookies for 10 to 12 minutes or until the cookies begin to turn brown around the edges. Allow cookies to cool on baking pan for 5 minutes. Transfer the cookies on a wire baking rack to cool completely.

Tips & Warnings

  • When using regular Snickers candy bars that contain nuts and caramel, you should stuff these inside the cookie dough rather than chopping them up and mixing them in the dough. This prevents the cookies from falling apart from the melted caramel.

  • Snickers Peanut Butter Squared, a newer product of Snickers candy bars, can be chopped up and added to the dough without causing the cookies to fall apart.
